The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG), in partnership with CTtransit and CTDOT, recently began a comprehensive service analysis of CTtransit bus service in the Hartford region. This study will take a detailed look at the existing CTtransit service and provide recommendations for improving service to meet the region’s needs. The goals of the transit study are to:

  1. Make sure CTtransit services meet and support growing community needs.
  2. Make the bus an attractive option for more people in our community. Study recommendations will include finding ways to increase bus ridership.
  3. Ensure CTtransit services continue to operate in the most cost effective and efficient way possible.
