New Britain / Bristol

In addition to the Hartford Transit Study, the Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is evaluating transit service, and the potential for future transit service, in the New Britain/Bristol Division of CTtransit to benefit towns that recently joined CRCOG. The study area includes Berlin, New Britain, Plainville, and Southington, as well as the neighboring city of Bristol. Like the Hartford Transit Study, the New Britain/Bristol Area Transit Study is being conducted in partnership with CTtransit and the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT).

The study of the New Britain/Bristol Division is complete. The Final Report documents are available below under “Study Documents.”
